Verenpisara

Verenpisara is Helsinki-based hard rock band, best know as Amorphis keyboardist Santeri Kallio’s side project. Their music is based on Kallio’s heavy melancholic music, which is accompanied by Rami Raski’s poetical lyrics.

In 2011 Verenpisara released anticipate Eilinen on kuollut -album after 6 year hiatus. After the album release they performed two shows in Helsinki, which I joined to photograph. The rehearsals preparing for the upcoming performances were also documented. Verenpisara was the first assignment I also shoot video alongside my photography.

The end result was a documentary-style live music video for their song “Kuinka usein?”
